You can contribute to our Projects by making a contribution to Friends of Nosara

100% Of YOUR DONATION GOES TO THE PARTNER ORGANIZATION YOU SPECIFY

Friends of Nosara has no employees, no salaries and no overhead other than $35 paid annually with our report to the New York Secretary of State, a requirement for non-profit corporations.  This website and all office supplies, postage, etc. are donated by the individuals involved in the project.

OTHER WAYS TO CONTRIBUTE
All of these Organizations have Wish Lists.  Most of the items on these lists cost just a few dollars and can be tucked into your suitcase.  Contact your favorite Organization to see if they have a particular need.

AND LASTLY, YOUR INVOLVEMENT AND TIME ARE INVALUABLE CONTRIBUTIONS.

Biblioteca David Kitson always has clerical work and inventory projects in need of volunteers.  As well, they welcome volunteers to read to children, teach arts and crafts or English as a Second Language classes, and to support activities programs for both children and adults.

The Escuelita program offers daily activities during the month of January when local schools are not in session. Volunteers are essential to the operation of this program which includes sports and games, arts and crafts, music and theatre. If you have a skill to share with children or simply want to assist Escuelita's experienced classroom leaders, you are welcome to join in the fun.

Refugio Animales de Nosara and SIBU Sanctuary seek volunteers to help survey area electric lines to identify those most in need of insulation, among other things.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
The Surfing Nosara Foundation needs the basic school supplies and classroom material.   Wish List  > >
The NCA Beach and Refuge Protection Fund encourages everyone to work at keeping our beaches and their environs clean every day. Bags for the collection of trash are available each Guiones Beach entrance on the first Sunday of every month at 7 a.m. to work together on beach clean-up.  Due in large part to these efforts Playa Guiones has earned Costa Rica's prestigious Bandera Azul Ecologica that identifies the beaches that meet the highest standard of beach cleanliness, sea water quality, potable water, wastewater treatment, environmental education, security and manageability.

The Surfing Nosara Foundation can use your help for their many school renovation projects.
The Nosara Animal Care is in great need of surgical equipment for spaying and neutering.  They also need pet food, pet carriers, leashes,  collars, and shampoo
